While the focus will be on Point of Care Testing (POCT) and Direct-to-Consumer Testing (DTCT), the discussion will explore broader principles of delivering safe, high-quality patient care. As such, the content will be relevant to all laboratory professionals, and we warmly welcome attendees from across the laboratory community.

Attendance is free; however, individual registration is required. The webinar sessions will be recorded, although the live debate will not. We therefore encourage everyone to register, even if you are unable to attend on the day, to ensure you receive access to the recording afterwards.

Putting Patients at the Centre

Patient safety is at the heart of this event. Our debate will explore the question:
“What are the patient safety challenges associated with POCT and DTCT?”

This webinar provides an opportunity to share experiences, discuss concerns, and identify practical solutions related to patient safety in these testing environments.

We invite participants to contribute examples of situations where patients have been affected, either positively or negatively, by POCT or DTCT. To help shape the discussion, please share your experiences and comments during the registration process.
