• Developing a National Governance Policy for the Management of POCT

• Developing a CRP Testing service in Primary & Community Care for Acute Respiratory Infections & COPD

Annette Thomas is a Consultant Clinical Biochemist at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board with over 40 years’ experience in Laboratory Medicine, over 20 years of which has been as Director of Weqas. She is also the National Point of Care Clinical Lead for Wales, and an internationally recognised expert in EQA and POCT.
