POCT Ketones
Blood Ketones are tested in a Point of Care setting for early detection or diagnosis of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) or to improve the monitoring and management of patients with diabetic ketoacidosis. POCT Ketones EQA scheme has been designed to simulate the composition of patient samples in order to correctly reflect the expected performance with patient samples. Our EQA material includes both glucose and ketones, one samples is distributed bi-monthly to POCT sites in both Primary and Secondary Care.
